harbour view room, charmed!
clean room appointed room major location equipped fitness
the room was clean, well appointed, and it was comfortable to stay. there was a reliable wi-fi, awesome for a good night sleep. the location was a major plus, it was convenient to local attractions. i appreciated the fitness center because it was well equipped.
waiting time for the lifts had scope for improvement and lines were long during check in.

the room included a spacious layout, almost a 180 degree view. this view showcased the lovely victoria harbour, what a treat. the bed was big, the comfort level was nice.

this hotel was located near two mtr stations, transport was easy. the area around the hotel had several restaurants and shops. it seemed safe and well maintained, this was reassuring.

the fitness center offered modern equipment and it was clean. the pool area provided ample space for relaxation, great for unwinding. i thought common areas were stylish, it had thoughtful touches.

food ordered was delicious, especially lobster grilled cheese sandwich. the hainanese chicken rice had nice flavor, it was well prepared. the culinary team are excellent, they deserve praise.

harbour view bliss!!!
comfortable bed amazing facilities breakfast buffet harbour view
the room with a harbour view was seriously amazing! the bed was super comfortable, a total dream to sleep on. i loved the excellent facilities and the breakfast buffet had so much choice!!! it was a great way to start the day.
The restaurant and bar closing time was a little earlier than other places. I wish it stayed open a bit later!

The staff members are helpful and attend to requests quickly. I felt very welcomed. they remembered my name and always greeted me with a smile, a very personal touch! their assistance was valuable.

The breakfast had a lot of options. The location is close to the Wan Chai subway station. The area had many food choices I found.
The pool was closed . I was unaware of this before my arrival. I really wanted time to relax near the pool.

decent but disappointing in some areas
rude waiter rotting fruit
The restaurant and bar closed early, before midnight. Other places had later hours. ordering breakfast to the bedroom, part of our package, was unpleasant. The waiter was rude and seemed put out. our anniversary cake and sparkling wine were also messed up. I expected them on the first night, but instead, i received them every night along with rotting fruit.

A Mixed Bag of Experiences

The pool access was a bit of a joke. They share it with other hotels. Renaissance Hotel had little control. Grand Hyatt guests seemed to get priority. Our anniversary was almost ruined. The promised cake and wine never materialized as promised. I was informed it would arrive every night. It didn't. The rotting fruit stayed and stank the room, though.

fine harbour helpful staff
my room has views overlooking the fine harbour. the room includes a bathtub and plenty of amenities. the staff was friendly and helpful, always available to assist with requests and answer any questions i had.
the elevators seemed to be a bit slow during peak hours. sometimes i waited for a few minutes before one arrived. this issue was a little inconvenient when i needed to get to my meetings quickly.
