the room with a harbour view was seriously amazing! the bed was super comfortable, a total dream to sleep on. i loved the excellent facilities and the breakfast buffet had so much choice!!! it was a great way to start the day.
The restaurant/bar closing time was a little earlier than other places. I wish it stayed open a bit later!

the breakfast buffet included varied options. i saw different sections with many food items. juice options were also available. staff at the omelette station recognized me and passed me my egg white omelette without me saying a word. the club lounge is located above the 40th floor. drink selections at the evening cocktail were good there.
The restaurant closed early. I think it should be open later.

the breakfast had a lot to offer, a plus.
The restaurant and bar closed early, before midnight. Other places had later hours. ordering breakfast to the bedroom, part of our package, was unpleasant. The waiter was rude and seemed put out. our anniversary cake and sparkling wine were also messed up. I expected them on the first night, but instead, i received them every night along with rotting fruit.

A Mixed Bag of Experiences

The pool access was a bit of a joke. They share it with other hotels. Renaissance Hotel had little control. Grand Hyatt guests seemed to get priority. Our anniversary was almost ruined. The promised cake and wine never materialized as promised. I was informed it would arrive every night. It didn't. The rotting fruit stayed and stank the room, though.

my room has views overlooking the fine harbour. the room includes a bathtub and plenty of amenities. the staff was friendly and helpful, always available to assist with requests and answer any questions i had.
sometimes i waited for a few minutes before one arrived. this issue was a little inconvenient when i needed to get to my meetings quickly.
